About Me

Kristal Pollack, LCSW

My name is Kristal Pollack, I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing for over 11 years in various mental health settings with diverse populations.  Our life experiences, stressors, and coping mechanisms can sometimes lead us to make choices that can produce more challenges than benefits. I view the therapeutic relationship as a non-judgmental partnership. It is my goal to collaboratively develop new effective ways to manage your distress, regulate your emotions, improve your relationships, and gain a better sense of who you are.

My clients have experienced trauma, depression, self injury, suicidality, impulsive behaviors, and chronic emotion dysregulation. I have been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and use a full comprehensive program, as well as an informed approach when I work alongside my clients.  This is most effective with individuals that experience emotional challenges, difficulty tolerating distress, problems with interpersonal relationships, and lacking in their sense of self.

My services include individual, group, and family/support person(s) involvement, as well as phone coaching for adolescents, adults, and client's family/support systems. I offer a free phone consultation so you can be confident in your decision to engage in therapy. I encourage you to call and make the first step. Together we can discover the balance of acceptance and change.
